Sara and Carl welcome you to The Carmen Rose where we pride ourselves on our home made food and support of local produce and businesses.

Our tea room is small and quaint but we welcome walkers with muddy boots, cyclists with muddy backs and there’s even a bowl of water outside for thirsty dogs! Come in and dry off in front of our roaring log fire during the winter months or relax in our large sunny garden during fine weather. Let us pamper you and feed you before your next excursion.

Our sausages and bacon are from The Ribble Valley Meat Company based here in Ribchester, our eggs are from a local farm, meat from Brendan Anderton butchers in Longridge and bread, scones and teacakes are made fresh daily by Tina's Bakers in Longridge. Our cheeses are from farms around Chipping, our cakes are home made locally by Caroline and our coffee is from Exchange Coffee Company of Clitheroe. Our re-knowned ice cream is made by Mrs Dowson on her farm on the A59, five minutes away.

Our comprehensive menu is sure to delight but don't forget to try our famous cream tea - fresh scones served with home made jams and clotted cream. And another must try is our delicious hot chocolate, complete with marshmallows, cream AND a flake. Warning – this will seriously damage any diet!!!

Our setting is perfect for small functions and touring parties and we welcome coach parties although we would prefer advance warning! There is ample parking for coaches in the adjoining car park.
